Sandy...
Hi fellow AASNETTERS. I'm just getting home Mone 11pm but I had to post this post before I went to sleep. This past weekeknd has one special weekend. I met wonderful people and had a whole bunch of fun! I want to extend my big thanks to the Dallas crew for making my stay a fabulous one.
I want to give a special thanks to Rick Jones and his family for their generosity in sharing their home and church with me... Rick you are one of the nicest persons I have ever met.
David Woods (giver of flowers) you are a sweetie and very thoughful. I'm glad I got to see that side of you.
I miss all of you already...so we must do this soon again.
Ywanda sistafriend. A special thanks to you for introducing me to webpages etc. You made my first time special.

Look ...ya'll got me crying again. Shoot I was crying before I left....it was such a special moment in my life
Sandy Jones (...real tears)

The best thing about the gathering ...it felt like family. I don't have sisters but all of a sudden I had loving sisters (Meli, Pam, Gillian, Ywanda, Yoli, Roz); I had loving brothers who would just come up and give me a hug (David B, Dalton, Jazzy, DJ,Jeffrey); I had tender thoughful men around me (Rick, David W) and all my other family members. I had daughters (Meli and Yoli who faithfully called me Momma)
I'll always remember Dallas. Thank you
Sandy Jones
..crying again
One of my favorite moments was...I got CARDED at the club. It was so funny. Still can't believe it.
Lisa, honest to goodness it wasn't me that disappeared with DJ. Honest!!! (...I can't say who did disappear with DJ)
> Sandra and DJ, I heard about the disappearing act (they just didn't look hard enough).
Thanks Rick for the award. I'll display it proudly! It had me LOL, but I guess it was deserved.
Anyway, AASNET, I apologize for my no-show on Friday. Believe me, it wasn't intentional. Before I hang my head and shuffle away, allow me to explain:
I don't usually hang my draws out for all to see (solo creepin' while u sleepin'), but I will this time, because I owe a group apology. One of my friends was passing through on her way back to Philly. She was scheduled to fly out Thursday night, but I received an unannounced and uninvited visitor (surprise, surprise) from San Jose Thursday afternoon. Domestic disturbance suddenly went postal (jus kiddin', handled it BTB).
Fast forwarding, I didn't make my flight, but I have the ticket and would still like to visit Dallas next week if I can get an invite from either Gillian or Woods. I can take care of my own lodging. By the way, thanks Yolanda. Your midnight phone call on my PL (forgot I gave ya the #) added fuel to an extinguished, but smoldering fire.
Again, my apologies AASNET. What's my penance? If ya wanna chastise me w/any new words ya learned over the weekend, I'll suck it up and take it like Gomer Pyle.
Peace,
