...AND MORE...

Mona...

I wanted to express my sincere thanks to the AASNET group for such a great weekend August 22-24, 1997. I must admit I was feeling a little apprehensive about the weekend; however, after meeting such wonderful people I felt like one of the group. Roslynn kept telling me not to worry, I would have fun and she was definitely right. Everyone had such easy going and pleasant personalities.

The next couple of weeks will be hectic where I work but all I have to do is think back to my weekend in Dallas and it makes my day a little brighter.

Thanks again for everything.

Pam...

Good Morning to all the members on the list!!!

Today is a good day!! I was able to meet a few of my aasnet family members and I would have to say that they were even MORE FABULOUS in person than on the list. :)) I have to say that I had a wonderful time in Dallas, and for those who missed it, I just have to say the truth. You missed a good one!!

Now this was my first one, but the atmosphere was good, the people were excellent, the hosts and hostesses were fantastic!!! Rick, Gillian, David W., Ywanda, Jeff, thank you for showing us a good time in Big D!! For those of you who weren't able to go, have no fear. The pictures were fabulous too. :))

I have a special note to Rick and Gillian.

RICK: I thank you personally for opening up your home to your aasnet family! You have a beautiful home and a beautiful family! Thanks for all the work you and your family did on Saturday! *hug*

GILLIAN: Girl, I was hanging on your every word! Made me go home and rethink my life. Really rethink my life! Now I know why God allowed me to go to the gathering! *hugs* Thank you Sista!!

Again, thanks Dallas Crew! :) *hugs to all!*

Ywanda,

I was truly blessed to be able to hear Gillian speak. Girl, I'm telling you. I was hanging on her every word. That's what a great speaker does. When they talk, EVERYONE listens! That was Gillian! Gillian, thank you again!

Pam *Sunshine*

Rick,

Yes!

>Well thanks Pam, I put Meli on a plane this morning, (already missing David), and Sandra will fly out this afternoon....my question... did you have fun?  If that answer is yes...then mission complete.

Will,

That should have given ya the incentive to just leave!!! *giggle*  Anyway, we were really disappointed. Hope things worked out. Cause once you see those pictures, you're gonna kick yourself for not going!! *smile*

May God continue to bless you Rick!
May God continue to bless this family on the list!! :))

Okay Mom, Sista, I can't stop shedding tears either. I miss everyone already. This was my first gathering, and I don't know how this one compares to the others, but I feel this one was emotional because it was not held like in a hotel banquet room or something, even though it didn't matter where it was, we would have had fun. I guess cause it was at our Brother's home, and we really felt like we were at home with family, friends, a nice personable atmosphere. Like Gillian said in an earlier post, we were able to be ourselves and express ourselves around each other. Everyone was comfortable with each other. It was just a blessing from God. No other way to explain it. :))

Hey Mona!!

It was indeed an honor to meet you. I'm glad Roz brought you along. :) Hope you can make it to the next one! :)) Take care sister Mona!! Keep in touch!!!
